We use fresh ingredients (veggies, fruits, meats, eggs, etc.) so there will be natural variance in colors, shapes, and textures between different batches of treats.

We refuse to use artificial colors, made of unknown chemicals. To add colors, we only use natural powders in our treats: beetroot, spirulina, sweetpea flower, pumpkin, purple potato (ube), and carob.

Since we do not use artificial preservatives and only use natural ingredients, we do not have solid "best by" dates.

Once the package is opened, we recommend treats to be consumed within 1 month. However, if stored properly or frozen, shelf life can extend to 4 months. Please use your best judgement when feeding treats to your pets.

All our packaged treats have been dehydrated at a low temperature to extend the shelf life and can be stored in a dark, cool place in air-tight containers. To store dehydrated meat products for a longer length of time, you also have the option of freezing it. Note that you can serve any of our treats frozen or at room temperature - totally up to you or your pet's preference!

According to the CDC, cooking poultry and eggs to an internal temperature of 165˚F kills bacteria and viruses, including avian influenza A viruses.

We dehydrate our treats from a raw state and dehydrate at 165˚F to ensure it is safe to ingest and handle for both humans and your pets. As concerned pet parents, we are closely monitoring the news for updates as well as considering any additional safety protocols.
